How do I get started?

First of all, you must create a free or premium account. You can always upgrade to Premium later.

Now you have to upload the products that you want to make available to the community. For this, you can click on "Add Product", at the top right of the page. You can also click on the "Profile" button, located in the same place, and then on "My products".

Here you must upload the item information such as name, category, availability, images, a general description and more. You can also choose if you want to lend it only to premium users or if it's available for free.

Once you've uploaded your first item, you will now have 2 tickets to spend, since we give you a free one when you create your account!
The tickets are what allow you to borrow items from other members of the community. If you borrow 1 item, you spend 1 ticket and if you upload an item, you earn 1 ticket.

How do I lend or borrow things?
As the borrower, you can request a product by pressing "Borrow" on the product's page. This will send a message to the lender, letting them know that you want to access their product.

An item can be uploaded by iLendu or by any user on the website. The lenders decide who can borrow their products and or, if they want to give them away.

Once the lender gets the request, they must choose to deny or accept it. If they do want to lend their product, they will get in touch with you, and then together you must decide when and where the item will be lent.

When the coordination process is done, you can start using the item you borrowed!

When the time comes to return it, remember to do it on time and in the same conditions it was lended to you, if it applies.

If any problem occurs in any part of the process, you can open a dispute by contacting us and we'll get back to you with a solution.
